i bought a new rubber shoes yesterday. after 2 years, i finally have an alternate to my ever reliable merrell shoes. this is the pair of shoes i bought.

i remember posting here last may a picture of the next merrell that i will buy. however, i did not find one here in the philippines. too bad.

loyalty to this brand? i guess so. though it is a bit pricy, it's one hell of a tough shoe. i wear my merrell almost everyday whenever i go out and it's still in good condition to think it's been 2 years old. :)

jeans

yesterday, i got so frustrated looking for jeans. if only i don't need to buy a new pair, i won't waste time looking for one. i just hate the fact how jeans often change. i mean their size and style. before, when i was still using midwaist jeans, there were a lot of low rise jeans. now, that i am looking for low rise jeans, i just can't find what i am looking for. weird, isn't it?! their low rise jeans does not look like one anymore. the sales people will assure you that they are low rise but when you try to fit it, it's not. haaay... can someone help me get a pair of jeans??!!!

ghost

a ghost from my past just haunted me. after three or four years of absence, he made himself felt yesterday. good thing he is a ghost and i did not get any glimpse of him or my bright sun shiny day will turn to gray.

it was in the midst of our town fiesta's parade/procession. in the midst of everyone's merry making. the jolliest event of the day. the main event to everyone's anticipation. i didn't know he was there nor i even care. the day he chose his other woman and illegitimate child over us and insensitively passed unto my shoulders his responsibilities, for me, he already ceased to exist. i know i am bad but i have all the reasons to feel this way. however, i still chose to be numb to that emotion.

and to you, i just a small favor to ask. since you already left your responsibilities, just don't show up. all the bad memories can't help but come back. i guess this will be the best for all of us.

fiesta

aligaga na naman ang mga tao sa bayan namin. malapit na naman kse ang fiesta. may perya na, banderitas at endramada. everyone's anticipating the day itself. masaya na naman sa angono. ito ang isa sa pinakamasayang pagdiriwang taon-taon kaya naman i can't afford to miss it. every year i make sure that i am home to witness this event. personally, i look forward to the other activities before the feast day. the higantes festival, the art exhibit and on the spot painting contests, and the tiangge. at syempre ang pinakaaabangang fluvial procession. sayang nga lang, hindi ako kukuha ng pictures this year. i got so frustrated last year with my point and shoot because its battery died out before the procession was done. i was not even done taking pics. i told myself that i will have a new camera by this time of the year. however, due to financial constraints it did not materialize. poor me. literally. a financially challenged individual. tsktsktsk. kala ko pa naman vertically challenged lang ako. hehehe...

scoliosis

my mom has been complaining about her back pains for the past months. according to her, sometimes it hurts sometimes it don't. she also noticed that she has uneven collar bones. i think she noticed that years ago, when her left bicep muscles started to ache to the extent that she cannot lift her arm vertically.

it just dawned on me last night that she might have scoliosis because i asked her if her shoulders have even levels. she told me that they are not. her most recent chest xray does not show much if she does have scolio but it seems that she has kse medyo nakabaluktot ung sa bandang taas ng spine nya. of course, i cannot confirm this unless we see a doctor which she hates a lot. haay... another problem in the making.

loans

our town fiesta is fast approaching. since this month started, i noticed our town's people are busy setting up the bamboo poles lined up at our streets or those that we call endramadas. marking the preparations for the said annual event.

this is one thing i always loved about my hometown. it has a very colorful customs and tradition that makes everyone look forward to and the festive atmosphere whenever this time of the year comes. i always make sure i don't miss it. this year though makes me a little frustrated because i told myself that i will have my d40 this month of the year. however, due to financial difficulties, this did not materialize. so i decided that i will just watch the parade and see if i can stop myself from taking photos. hehehe...

i tried getting a loan from two banks but to no avail. lastly, i tried getting a loan from sss and to my surprise, i was listed under an unknown employer, premier wine and spirits inc. the heck?! i don't even know what company is that! so in effect, i cannot get a loan unless this gets taken cared of. fine. come to think of it, i am 3 contributions short to get a two month loan which is a lot better. all i have to do is wait till our company remits our contribution for december and i am good to go. it's not that bad after all. hehehe...
