subic sweetwater

may 3, 2007, destination: subic sweetwater in morong, bataan. we left makati at past 6:00am and reached dinalupihan, bataan at about 8:30 am. we went straight to rej's place and went to buy the stuff that we need for the outing. while in the market, i saw this interesting trike that the folks there used to travel around. this trike looks a lot like the "tuktuk" in china. all the while, i thought we were no longer in the philippines. hehehe...

the bataan version of "tuktuk" hehehe...

the busy street market of dinalupihan, bataan

we reached subic sweetwater at about 11:30am after a long drive from dinalupihan, bataan. we passed through the subic free port and exited at the morong gate. the place is really nice. tahimik... it's really an ideal place to relax. though, the place is not that fully developed yet and not a lot of people will like the accommodations. there are other accommodations though but they have been previously booked. for me, so long as there are comfort rooms and water, it does not matter. the cottage/room that we had reserved looked like a two-storey nipa hut to me minus the walls at its four sides so the air can freely pass through it. the air constantly blows but its temperature varies from hot to cold and vise versa. the following are the pics that i took during our stay there:

this is where we stayed. a modern two-storey nipa hut with a lot of fresh air :)

this will be all for now. bibitinin ko muna kayo. hehehe... will blog more and post more pics tomorrow. :)
