another long day

i'll be at work today til 6am tomorrow. i'm still going to render overtime because we had to finish the BSG project until tuesday. anyway, it's my off tomorrow so its ok. i just hope i can finish the quota set by our manager. lol. the quota is feasible anyway. hehehe...

------------------------------------------

i asked my friend here who happens to be my shift lead, if he knows how to make tiramisu. good thing he does. he's going to make me one for christmas... hehehe... i just have to buy the ingredients and give him a stainless container. he cooks good so i'm sure masarap din toh... hehehe...

------------------------------------------

my mom and i are shopping tomorrow. i promised her to buy something new this month just in time for christmas... sana lang makagising ako... hehehe...

------------------------------------------

sweldo na bukas! yehey!!!!!!!!!!... sana lang kasiya-siya ung matatanggap ko tomorrow... hehehe...

------------------------------------------

i'm really excited about our get together party with abba, yosh, blythe and some other convergys friends. abba's cooking for us in her place. kainan na naman... hehehe... if you only knew what's the menu for the day, i'm sure you'll be excited as well. masarap magluto si abba... i'm sure this will be a fun day... at syempre busog day... hehehe...

------------------------------------------

di na nga pala ako makakasama dun sa activity sa white cross... sayang... i have work kse during that time. they said they are going to work the sched out that's why i signed up. pero sabi kanina i won't get paid if i come with them... so i told them i'd rather go to work if that is the case... nanghihinayang ako pero i need to work... sayang talaga... :(

looking forward to 2007

last night, it just came to my knowledge that our office is going to hire people on january. the first thing that came in my head is work opportunity for yosh. she needs a job so i quickly asked my supervisor to inform me when we will have an opening so i can refer yoshie to HR. i am hoping that she'll get a slot. i'm crossing my fingers. :)

---------------------

my supervisor, a colleague and i usually eats together during our lunch break. this has been a routine that whenever they will take their breaks, i should be taking my break too... hehehe... since yesterday, we agreed to bring some food and eat them in the pantry... it's like pot luck... today, my supervisor bought sisig that he cooked. he cooks really well... ang sarap sobra... nasisira tuloy diet ko... hehehe... tomorrow, di ko alam kung ano naman ang kakainin namin... :)

---------------------

i'm looking forward to a lot of things next year. my 28th bday, yoshie being my officemate again, my regularization and pay increase, a new house, my computer shop business, my dslr camera. hehehe... i just hope everything will fall into their right places... God speed... :)

i'm in love! hehehe...

welcome back yosh!

i'm so glad yosh is back. miss ko s'ya sobra... hehehe... i wasn't able to talk to her that much because i'm starving and i had to take my break. when i came back she already logged out. oh well... i'll have my chance of chatting with her... i'm sure... welcome back yoshie! :)

it took me more than 30 mins before i was able to come back from my break. niluto pa kse namin ung hotdog sa bagong toaster dito sa office e... hehehe... my sup brought hotdogs and few slices of ham, my other friend brought butter while i brought bread... tomorrow daw ulit... hehehe...

i had a blast today... i arrive at the office at 23 mins past 10am. as i had mentioned in my previous entries, i am rendering overtime work for the next days. i'm doing the same thing tomorrow morning. i had a lot of sign ups too today... i had 10 sign ups for the day and still counting... i need to catch up for the incentive til the end of the month... hehehe... sana lang magtuluy-tuloy... wish me luck! :)

--------------------------

our company gives a blowout party monthly for all its employees who celebrated their birthdays. for the month of december, the management decided to celebrate with the orphans in white cross children's home in san juan on december 18. i signed up for those employees who would like to join. the truth is, i'm excited for this because this is the first time i'll be able to experience this kind of thing. i'm going to take a lot of pics and post them here... :)

OT = Php :)

it's amazing that though i only had less than five hours of sleep this morning, i'm not feeling anything weird about myself nor sleepy except that i am unexceptionally perky today. yeah... i think it's weird... well... there a lot of things weird about me... so that's not new anymore... hahaha...

i'll be rendering more overtime hours on the coming days because the sups here need help in auditing some recorded TPV calls. they need more people to attend to it and finish it in time for its deadline. i have to wake up early and come to work early than my usual shift to render OT. oh well... its fine for me... more OT... more pay to expect on payday... hehehe... di naman halatang i'm badly in need of extra income noh???!!! hahaha

nakakahiyang mang aminin... yeah, i really do. i am hoping to have a good year in 2007. my mom and i have a lot of plans... sana matupad un lahat... God speed! :)

yosh... where are you??!!!

i really missed yosh today. i haven't heard from her for days already. it's just weird. i haven't caught her online either. i wonder what's keepin her busy... hmmm... anyway, whatever that is... i hope she's doin' fine.

hey yosh, if you happen to pass by my site... pls send me a shoutout... thanks... hehehe...

-------------------

two of my new friends here at the office, swore that they will give me a make over. they are giving me a year to shed some pounds para daw maisama nila ako sa bar hopping nila at gimmick... hahaha... good luck... they are the nth people to swear they are giving me a make over... lol...

------------------

i'm rendering overtime again for the second time... i'll be staying until 4am to audit some TPV calls... oh well... goodluck sa kin pag-uwi ko later... sana makasakay agad ako at makatiyempo ng fx... :)

oo nga pala, goodluck sa akin tomorrow... nakakaantok pa naman sa bagong station ko... hehehe...

some thoughts

its my first day in my new post. nakakatawa... im just reading the script pero nabubulol pa ako... hahaha... i had one sign up today and it was my first call... i even forgot to mention a portion of my script because my tools logged me out... hmp... i only had a few calls and i was pulled out to do inbound customer support again because my other colleague in inbound was pulled out to do webscreening... oh well... its fine... as long as they pay me well... lol...

------------------------------------------------------

yesterday, abba was so ecstatic about something. something i can't discuss here. hehehe... we exchanged a few text messages and i remember her thanking me for being so supportive in all her delusions... lol...

for you abba my friend, i just want you to be happy... kahit ano gawin mo suportahan taka... wag lang ilegal ha?!... hehehe... that's the least i can do for a good friend... don't worry... if there will come a time that you need someone to wake you up from that delusion... i'll be glad to be the person to wake you up... hehehe... and no matter what happens... if we end up spinsters... which i think you will not... i'll be glad to share a pad with you... :)

new post, new sched

i took calls on the start of the shift today and was pulled out to get a briefing of the task i'll be handling for the next days or months or even years... who can tell... i've been through three different tasks in my current job in the span of 4 months. oh well... the only permanent thing in this world is change and it seems like my company is applying it to the fullest sense of it. but this time i requested for it because i am after the weekend off and the incentive they offer for the TPV post. i am going to work for 8 straight days this week because my sched will change too... and finally, i am going to have a weekend off. thank you, Lord! :)

ok lang na 8 days ako magtatrabaho ngayong week na toh... dagdag kita rin un... hehehe... tsaka madali lang naman ang trabaho e... you are just going to read a script... un nga lang everything's recorded... so i need to behave... hahaha...

--------------------------------------------------------------

my officemate asked me a while ago if i want to teach english to foreigners and asked him how and where. he told me about the work her girlfriend is into who happens to be my kababayan and long lost relative. this will be a good sideline for me. i just hope it works out. im crossing my fingers... :)

---------------------------------------------------------------

i missed yosh. she haven't been online for days already. i wonder what's keeping her busy. hmmm...

----------------------------------------------------------------

abba texted me earlier today informing me that our friend, blythe has dengue fever. i hope she's ok.

i also asked abba if our scheduled cookout for dec 12 will push through. it seems like it will be moved to dec 15 instead... and i have to coordinate with yosh pa... san na kaya un??... :)

---------------------------------------------------------------

it seems like my checkup schedule with my surgeon will have to wait til my next off. oh well... that's fine as long as its weekend!!!!!!!! yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------

we might be able to leave our place earlier than expected. my mom is asking me to talk to my brother's friend who is an architect. it seems like our plan will be pushing through earlier than expected. as for the funds, i think my mom's going to get a loan somewhere. so, paying for it will be my task. :) i just hope everything will work out fine. :)

--------------------------------------------------------------

we went to antipolo again this morning to attend mass so i had to accompany her. its the feast of the immaculate conception today that's why we had to go there early so i wont be late going to work. good thing, i was not late today. :)

4th monthsary

today marks my 4th month in my current company. i have high hopes of getting regularized, though, im considering to transfer to another company if there will be a good offer that awaits me. but i still dunno if i would because i like it in here though the pay is a little small in my point of view. i like it in here because there is no pressure... no stress... you dont literally drag yourself going to work. in fact, you even look forward to the next day and would like to work on holidays too. the sups are nice too. im just having a financial dilemma that is why i would like to go somewhere that will address my financial needs. oh well... i know everything's going to be alright... :)

------------------------------------------

by the way, i am transferring to TPV starting tomorrow. here i come incentive and weekend off!!!! hehehe... wish me luck... :)

------------------------------------------

i was late today. i got in the office at past 2pm. what's frustrating is that i am late for only a minute. for some weird reason, traffic was so terrible even at 1 in the afternoon. oh well... i just have to leave a lot earlier than before.

wish list

today is exactly a month before my birthday. abba asked me to come up with my wishlist too. hahaha... well, here it is... im writing this list to remind myself that i need to save up for them so i can buy them in the near future... hehehe... so, here goes...

1. canon eos 400d (kahit canon eos 350d)

2. acoustic guitar and amplifier

3. psp

4. dvd player (already bought one yesterday hehehe...)

5. kahon (percussion instrument)

6. a guitar capo (ung pa-clip)

7. digital photography books (photo idea index by jim krause and digital photography handbook by doug harman)

8. chuck taylor shoes (olive color)

9. hat (im not quite sure how do you call this hat but i like it in khaki color)

10. tons of socks (ung manipis lang tsaka hanggang ankle lang ang length)

11. a new pair of shades

12. jackets

on top of all of these, i hope i can get a good paying job para makapagpagawa na kme ng bahay and of course, so i can buy all of these... :)

------------------------------

yesterday, i had to cancel my checkup with my surgeon. i didnt know that my mom is planning to go to antipolo to see the image of the black nazarene of quiapo. yes, the black nazarene of quiapo went to antipolo cathedral for two days (dec. 4 and 5) for the birthday of virgin mary so we grabbed the opporunity to see the black nazarene.
i was so thankful that i chose to come with my mom because we got to come close and touch the image minus the huge crowd and the siksikan.

------------------------------

finally, i had the chance to have my eyes checked. im right... i have to wear eyeglasses again... at tumaas ang grado ng mata ko... hmp...

------------------------------
i had my hair trimmed too yesterday. i had my highlights removed. so i spent a lot for my hair alone yesterday minus the one i spent for my eyeglasses. oh well... the result of having too much fetish on one's hair... you'll have a nice hairdo but the downside is you end up with no money... hahaha...

------------------------------

i almost forgot. its my friend's birthdate today. she's my classmate since elementary up to college and even worked in the same company after our graduation. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALMIRA! :)

rants, rants and rants

i cant think of anything to write about today but some thoughts thats been bothering me since this morning. my mom and our neighbors are having some issues since the day my dad left. the vicinity where i live is the same area where my relatives on my father side also lives. since my dad left, they've been treating my mom as if she does not exist. we've been hearing a lot of things said about my mom that are so judgmental. oh well... i dont want to dwell on that.

im just having thoughts of moving out from that neighborhood the soonest possible time. i just dont have enough money to do that. i would be doing my mom a great favor if we will leave the area but i just dont have enough funds to support it. haayyy... why does it have to be this difficult???!!!... we never caused anyone any trouble nor hurt anybody and yet this is what we get???... i just dont get it. it really sucks...

-----------------------------------------------------------

im wondering if i can get a loan from PAGIBIG funds... will they be able to help me finance building a new house???!!!... i guess so but i still dont have the land title of the lot i am purchasing... too bad... any suggestions???

-----------------------------------------------------------

im going to medical city tomorrow for my supposedly quarterly checkup with my surgeon. this is already long overdue i should have come back last october and had my ultrasound by that time too. too bad, i dont have enough money to spend and i had to wait for my health card to be released before i can go see my surgeon... haayy... ang hirap talaga maging mahirap...

my eyes hurt :(

i only had four hours of sleep today. i left the office at 4am this morning and reached home at about 5:30 am. i had to wash my plastic container where i put my baon before i finally got to sleep. i woke up feeling my left lower leg muscle aching. i dont even remember why it is aching but i have this feeling na pinulikat ako while sleeping. i just dunno if it was real or im just dreaming... hehehe... too tired and sleepy to separate the real thing from a dream... hahaha...

on my way to the office, i can feel that my eyes would like to shut and rest but my brain does not want to. so i ended up spending my trip going to my office with my eyes shut but not asleep... weirdo... hahaha...

i cant even stare at the computer that long so i had to buy a visine from 711. it helped a lot in easing the weird feeling when you did not get enough sleep. oh well... i remember i have to work doubly hard... christmas is near... hehehe... i just hope the next time they request me to render overtime work, its my off the next day so i can do a doubleshift and rest the next day... haayyy...

by the way, i was so hesitant to go home this morning because i am a little scared. i had to leave my wallet and iPod nano inside my locker for precautionary measures. hahaha... di naman halata na mahal na mahal ko ung iPod ko noh???!!! hahaha... though, i would like to take a short nap while traveling i just cant... im just too afraid... good thing i was able to go home in one piece... thank you Lord! :)

good luck na lang sa kin... sana d ako antukin... hahaha...

-------------------------------------------------------------

i just remembered last night while i was taking a call from a customer, i can feel na tinatamaan na ako ng antok e. i was explaining something to her but the thing is dahil inaantok na ako... nababaluktot na english ko... kahit ako di ko na maintindihan sarili ko e... i was speaking with her for more than five minutes i think... sumuko na lang siguro sya kse di nya ako maintindihan... hehehe...

----------------------------------------------------------------

we were given a new set of icebreakers today. icebreakers???!! yeah... the miss universe questions set 2... hahaha... it seems like it will smell like fried brain cells again... hahaha... here are the questions:

1. if you were the Grim Reaper for one day, whose life will you take and why?

2. name three (3) things you think will be obsolete in ten (10) years. why did you choose these three?

3. if you were not afraid of anything, what will you do? why?

4. is religion good or bad? explain.

5. in your opinion, what policy or house rule needs to be strictly implemented in the company?

6. have you ever had to work with someone who did not share your work ethics? how did you manage it?

great timing, isnt it? ngayon pa na konting oras lang ang itinulog ko... my brain is not working properly... buti nga im still nice with the customers who are calling e... hehehe... later magsusungit na ako for sure... hahaha...

i will answer these questions tomorrow... low volume naman kme tomorrow e... :)

----------------------------------------------------------------

oo nga pala, nakikipagbrasuhan na ako dito sa office para magkaroon ako ng weekend na off. my other sup wants me to stay in inbound because she just knew that i am transferring to TPV. i told her that i am going to stay in inbound if she will give me a weekend off. hahaha... astig noh?! kala mo kung sino... hehehe... i was never demanding... ngayon lang... dapat lang naman siguro... i followed their orders without questions... i never whined... so its time that i reap the benefits of being a good follower... oh well... i hope...

---------------------------------------------------------------

di na naman ako nakasimba... hmp...

paintball + go karting = overtime???!!!!

yesterday, abba was telling us (yoshie and me) stories about her experience with paintball together with her pamangkins. she told us that its fun and would like to do it again with us. i asked her if the balls hurt when it hits you. she told me medyo and she even have a sore pinky because it got hit. i told them that id just watch them and take their pics because i dont want to be hurt... hahaha... its not so me... mataas naman ang tolerance level ko with pain kaya lang id rather do something else... like go karting... hahaha... expensive way of spending your leisure time... hahaha... so we (abba, yoshie and me) agreed that we are going to save up for paintball and go karting... i think i'll give paintball a try but ayoko ng messy e and ayoko ng pinagpapawisan ako ng sobra unless im exercising... oh well... i think i dont have much of a choice... right abba??!! hahaha... oo nga pala, abba wants it on my birthday... hahaha... goodluck sa atin... sana i have enough money to spend by that time... hahaha...

---------------------------------------------------------------

i requested yoshie to make me a testi for friendster yesterday. i just read it a few hours ago. honestly, naiyak ako dun sa testi nya for me... naiyak sa kakatawa and seryosong naiyak ako... hehehe... wala lang... na-touch ako e... hehehe...

--------------------------------------------------------------

i am rendering overtime today til 4am. too bad, di ako makatanggi e... wala kseng tao dito sa inbound... di naman pwede ung isang kasama ko kse mommy na sya... haayyy... sana lang di ako antukin til 4am later... tsaka tomorrow pag pasok ko ng 2pm... hehehe... extra pay rin toh... hahaha...

countdown

today is exactly 24 days before christmas. how time flies... its the fourth christmas that my mom and i will be celebrating the season... just the two of us... dont get me wrong... im not bitter or anything... whatever happened in the past tapos na un and my mom and i have moved on... medyo malaking responsibility lang talaga ang nakaatang sa akin ngayon... i have to provide for my mom... oh well... kaya ko naman siguro... i just have to work hard... really hard...

----------------------------------------------------------------

yoshie's going to give me the copy of my turbo jam today... hehehe... ang saya... makakapagturbo jam na ko... but the thing is... i dont have a dvd player yet... hahaha... loser... hahaha....

----------------------------------------------------------------

i expressed my intention of transferring to the TPV account here at work... nakakahiya mang aminin... im so desperately in need of extra income... meron kseng incentive dun e... so it will be a really really big help... sana nga lang ako ung ilipat nila dun... pagkakataon ko na rin para makaranas naman ako ng weekend off... hehehe... here i go again... im crossing my fingers... but unlike before... di ako umaasa... i dont want to end up whining again... :)

----------------------------------------------------------------

just like the other storms that have ravaged the country, super typhoon reming is no exception to those storms that left so much destruction and death toll. i just read in inq7.net that there were 108 dead bodies recovered that were buried in the mudslide in bicol and it is feared that there are more bodies unrecovered. geez... ang dali ng buhay... i pray for the souls of those who died in this calamity... may they find peace with our creator... and to their relatives that they left... may God provide them the strength they need to move on... amen.

last day of november

its the last day of november and the super typhoon reming is approaching the philippine area of responsibility. according to the news, the bicol region is under storm signal number 4 already and metro manila and the other provinces in southern tagalog are under signal number 2. i just hope that this will not bring the same destruction as the typhoon milenyo did. i pray that everyone will be safe and no casualties will be left after this ravaging storm has passed. i know its far fetched but im still hoping for the best. may God be with us all.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

im currently looking for pics that i will be putting here on dec 6... hopefully... just wait and see what are those... hehehe...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

finally, yoshie's blogging... hehehe... im happy for you, dude... welcome to the club... palakpakan!!!... hahaha... :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

abba promised me that she's going to give me one painting... then, we are going to sell it... the proceeds will go to the funds that im saving up for my canon 400d... hehehe... thanks abba! :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

pasensya na wala akong matinong maisulat... hehehe... :)

brain fry

yesterday we were asked to answer open ended questions and expound on them in not less than 100 words. the following are the questions:

1. if a genie popped out of a bottle and promised to grant you just one wish, what would you wish for except for extra wishes? why?

2. if you can be anyone you wanted to be today, who would you be and what would you do? explain.

3. if your house were on fire, what (not who) would you initially grab on the way out? explain why.

4. if you had to choose, would you give up your sight or our hearing? why?

5. if you were given a choice between great wisdom and great wealth, which would you choose? explain why.

6. what do you see as the value of belonging to a professional organization?

7. considering your working career, discuss the most stressful event you ever faced and how you managed it.

8. how does the position you currently have fit into the career path you have set for yourself?

9. what do you see as being your most significant accomplishment?

10. in your opinion, what is the best way to lead and motivate subordinates?

pretty tough huh?!... honestly, i had a hard time writing something for this. my brain isn't just working properly yesterday. it really smells like burnt brain yesterday on the floor while we were working on it. i just dont have much of a choice i had to finish it yesterday because its my off today... geez... i had a splitting headache because of this... mahirap talagang mag-isip lalo na pag wala kang maisip... hehehe...

long day

i woke up at 8am today to accompany my mom going to antipolo church. i was so sleepy that i slept on the jeepney on our way going to tikling. well, i got home last night at 12am... so there... traffic was so horrible so we got late on the mass. my mom and i ate out. we didn't have time to go out yesterday that's why we did it today. i almost got late going to work. thank God i'm not. :)

my officemate lent me his book about photography. its photo idea index by jim krause. its interesting... i hope i can get a copy of it soon... which gives me an idea... i'll include this on my wishlist for my birthday... well... just something to remind me of the things i have to buy for myself... though, i know i'll end up buying all those things in my wishlist... hehehe...

i had fun today talking with abba, yoshie and hazim. nagconfy kme sa aim... hehehe... wala lang ang kukulit lang namin... sana matuloy ung cook out na plan ni abba... im looking forward to it... sarap kse magluto ni abba e... hehehe...

happy birthday mom! :)

its my mom's birthday today. too bad i can't buy anything for her today kse sarado na ang mga bakeshop pag-uwi ko... i can't buy her a cake tuloy... oh well... tomorrow na lang... i'm sure, we are going to eat out after going to mass... :) happy birthday nay! :)

busy day for me... we had a lot of calls today... unusual... ganun talaga sa shift namin... pag saturday maraming calls... weird noh?!... and usually calls come in when you're about to log out... hahaha... parusa... :) but still i love my shift... mid shift pa rin ako forever... hehehe...

i was about to write something else but i think i had to reserve it for the coming days... its too early to post it here... i'll just wait til the end of december... hehehe...

babble... :)

i have a slight headache today. hangover yata ng pagod ko the past five days... i had to wake up early in the morning to go to the grocery to buy some ingredients para sa lulutuin naming konting handa sa fiesta... i did buy the meat and chicken din sa palengke... yesterday, i had to wake up really really early kse di ka rin naman makakatulog dahil sa ingay ng mga banda ng musiko at mga batang excited sa pagdaan ng parada... haaayyy... i was able to sleep for more than 8 hours yata but still im not feeling well... but i still went to work kse wala na ako suswelduhin pag umabsent pa ako... haayyy... ang hirap talagang maging mahirap... (quotable quote namin ni abba... hehehe...)

abba's going to deliver her paintings today sa tagaytay... gusto ko sana sumama but i can't... too bad... i have work today... sayang...

last night abba and i were texting. i was asking her how can i get extra income so i can save up and buy my dream canon 400d. she told me to do portraits which seems to be a nice idea... sana nga lang maraming magpagawa sa akin... :) she told me she'll help... thanks dude... :)

before i went to sleep kagabi, i listed a few things that i want to accomplish til the next year... im pretty much determined to do it... good luck na lang sa akin... hehehe...

viva san clemente

one thing i've always loved about my hometown is its rich culture and tradition. no doubt about it because these culture and traditions made our hometown an artists town. indeed we are the art capital of the philippines.

today is the feast day of our patron saint, pope clement I. every year, this is my most awaited event in my home town. well... i guess everybody in our town does... since i was little girl, i anticipate the feast day itself... aside from the food that will be served, i look forward to the "pagoda" itself... "pagoda" is an annual fluvial procession... dinadala ng mga deboto ang mga imahen ng santo papunta sa dagat (laguna de bay) para i-prusisyon... isinasakay sila kasama ng mga deboto sa apat na malalaking bangka na pinagdugtung-dugtong para makagawa ng isang malaking pagoda... although, i never had the chance to ride and join that boat because i dont know how to swim... i've always enjoyed how the town's people celebrate the occasion... and this is so evident on the annual parade...

makikita mo na sobrang saya ng mga tao... sagana ang tubig... they don't care if they are going to pay more this month for their water bills... basta kailangan makapambasa sila... hehehe... the men dress up like women... they even had their dress tailor made just for the occasion... pinaghahandaan talaga... you will get surprised on how creative people can get... makikita mo na lang na merong mga taong putik... someone who just came home from a halloween party... kanina nga merong naka-tuxedo... james bond daw... hehehe... we also have parehadoras... they are little girls dressed up in a really colorful attire... they march throughout the town with their miniature sagwans (boat paddle) and their bakyas (wooden slippers)... they were marching in a certain beat and they should be all in unison... annually, the organizers come up with a unique design... which makes you look forward to it every year... of course the giant paper maches that we call higantes were always present... every year we get to have a new one and over time the traditional higantes have already evolved to something far from the old higantes that we had... but of course the old concept is still there... i really can't blame the creativity of those people who have always been involved in this festival... its just so inspiring... :)

when i was really young, i remember there were few artistas who visit our town just to witness this event... though, our town has always been known for our higantes festival, now, we are included in the wow philippines destinations... in the past years too, we have been visited by a lot of media during this time of the year... they usually cover the entire festivity on this date of the month... pero ang suki talaga ng angono ay ang gma7... we were in unang hirit this morning... drew arellano and regine tolentino was outside our church covering the event... i think they never failed to come here to cover the event... a few years back... kara david was here... today, sandra aguinaldo was here who is a proud native of angono too... di rin sya nakaligtas sa mga nambubuhos ng tubig... hehehe... ganon talaga dito pag piyesta... pag tuyo ka, ikaw ang babasain... hehehe... kaya ingat sa mga cellphone at mga cameras... hehehe... di pa yan... papahiran ka pa ng putik... hehehe... a lot of tourists enjoy the festival too... so yearly, you'll find foreigners during the parade... kakaiba kse e... sabi nga wala sa states nyan... hehehe...

i almost forgot, i find this funny... the gays in our town imitated the 26k of deal or no deal... they were all dressed in minis... of course together with their brief cases... they even have a gay dressed up like the banker... and this really fat gay was dressed up in an orange gown who i think is portraying kris aquino... too bad my camera's battery died down... i wasn't able to take their picture... sayang...
its been a tiring day kse maaga pa lang nag-umpisa na ung prusisyon... yet, i had fun with what i witnessed today... hopefully, next year i'll have my canon 400d na... just in time for this event... wish harder russ!(again)... hahaha...

frustration

im a little frustrated today... in what?!!... in life itself... i know this is not me... im not the type of person who whines... i take every problem in life as a challenge and not a blunder... i still manage to see the positive side of life after all those bad things that had happened... since the day my dad left us... i never felt any hatred... i never blamed anyone not even God... nor it changed my positive outlook in life... that's how grounded i am... but what frustrates me is the fact that no matter how hard i try... no matter what i do... i can't give my mom the life she always deserves... haayyy... but still... nothing can stop me from striving hard to fulfill this dream... i hope that one day i'll be able to give her a convenient life... i know i can... sana lang malapit na yun...

art in the park @ velasquez park

good thing i read abba's blog yesterday. because of that, i knew that the art fair she's participating is just a 5 minute walk from our office. thanks to the interactive maps available on the internet, i was able to see abba, yoshie and ali. :)

i've heard about the saturday market in makati for months already. i've seen it
on TV but i was wondering where exactly it was... now i know...

by the way, the museum foundation of the philippines organized this event and as what i have read on the internet, this is the 2nd time they have held this kind of event in the velasquez park.

the truth is i don't have any plans of going there but when i found out that its just near our office, might as well go there para moral support kay abba... tsaka para makita ko rin sina abba at yoshie. grabeh... 6:30am pa lang nandun na sila... ang aga sobra... hehehe... i was suppose to be there at 12:30 but for some weird reason sobrang traffic... hmp... 30 mins lang yata ako nakapagstay dun... then i had to go back to our office because my shift will start at 2 pm... but its ok... at least, i saw them... :)

i wasn't able to cover the entire park because of lack of time but the place where they put up the tents for the paintings is the part of the park facing leviste street. the tents on the other side are for those entrepreneurs who sell their stuff, mostly food both raw and cooked.

abba and her artist friends have one booth showcasing their paintings. abba introduced me to jez and noel... teka, tama ba ung names nila???... i'm really bad with names... sorry... ung dalawang artist friend nya... apat sila dun pero ung isang artist nila nasa work daw... she was blaming me for not painting kse if i do sana daw kasama ako dun... hahaha... sorry, but i really can't manage... hirap kse talaga pag ikaw lang inaasahan sa bahay na kumita ng pera e... you tend to sacrifice what you love doing for the sake of earning more... hehehe... :) pero promise... i'll try to paint again... hehehe...

its a nice event sayang nga lang i had to leave soon... sana next time kasali na ko... tsaka sana matuloy na ung two man show namin ni abba... hehehe... wish harder russ!... hahaha...

town fiesta and some other thoughts

since the start of the novena for our patron saint, st. clement, last nov. 14, its just surprising that people in our town started to act weird... parang aligaga silang lahat... di mapakali... the streets started to get busy... the usual streets without people walking are filled with all kinds of people from all walks of life... weird, huh?!... oh well... this just says something... malapit na ang fiesta sa amin... and everyone's so excited about it.

i've noticed that the annual events during this time of the month in our town have already begun. these includes exhibits from different artist groups from our town.

when i went out this morning to pay some utility bills, i noticed that the 3rd neo-angono public art festival has already begun. it grabbed my attention because of their theme and the way they presented their works. their venue is not the traditional venue you can think of. its just on our town river. though our town river is not really a good sight to see, they still chose to hold their exhibit there. i guess that is the reason they refer to this festival as a public art festival because its literally on the streets. i took some pictures of the said exhibit using my point and shoot camera. the weather is a bit gloomy today so i'm not sure if i got a good shot of the event. my camera is showing the pics okay but i'm not just sure if it will show the same thing on the computer. i posted them here.

i'll be posting the other events that i'll be able to capture using my point and shoot camera in the coming days... by the way, all these events will culminate on the feast day itself.

my college friend, love and i met yesterday. we finally got the chance to squeeze in this date to our busy call center scheds... hehehe... i got the chance to see her again after three long years... that is if i'm not mistaken... oh well... i lost count already... but it doesn't matter... what's important is i got to see her and that she's doing fine after all these years... :)

we got to chat more... well... nothing beats personal communication rather than just texting... i must admit i missed her a lot... i may not know all the things that had happened to her but i know she is a strong person and i hope she knows that i'm always here for her... though not physically... and she knows i can always make my way to be there for her...

we got to do the things that we usually do during our college days... eat and watch a movie... mababaw lang naman kme e... un lang ok na... all we want is to spend time with each other...

it was nice to recall those things that we know about each other. nakakatuwa lang pag naiisip ko na after all these years i still know those facts about her. :) at heto pa... between the two of us, i'm still the same person who never argues... :) ako pa rin ung mahilig mang-asar at mangulit... at syempre madaldal pa rin kmeng dalawa... hehehe... it really doesn't seem that we haven't seen each other for a long time... she is still the same person i'd like to spend an afternoon doing nothing but feeling like its the best conversation i've ever had... funny, huh?!... :)

i know something happened between her and her boyfriend. i can feel that they broke up already... i can read through her... she never told me any story... i never asked... the same old me who never breaks into something that others do not want to be explored... i know in time she'll break her silence... when she is ready... or maybe she does not want to talk about other things that might spoil our day... oh well... whatever her reasons, i respect that... :)

alam ko maraming nagbago sa amin and our families... we have matured... we aged of course... :) she already has three pamangkins while i have one niece... all her siblings were already married... but those did not change the fact that we are... and we will remain friends as long as we live... though space and distance separate us. :)

i love you friend... i always do... alam mo un... :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i've got my maxicare card today. yipee!!!!!!! makakapagpa-check-up na ako sa surgeon ko... hehehe... :)

back pay... finally...

i went to teletech today to claim my last pay. finally, i got it... it felt like ages before i finally got hold of it. to put it bluntly... it took them three months to process it... haaayyy... ang tagal...

i saw my batchmate and team mate in teletech and we exchange stories on how life went after i left teletech... he told me that i have an incentive for our pay 4 performance when i was still there. he even told me to look for it in my back pay... unfortunately, its not there... i wonder how can i claim it... hmm... i think i have to text him and ask for his help... sayang din un ha?! sabi nya libo din daw un... hahaha...

im just glad that i got my last pay today... mababayaran na namin ung lupa... hehehe...

by the way, today is the start of the novena for our patron saint, st. clement. i just remembered it. unfortunately, di na ako aabot... di bale... nine days naman un so i still have eight days left. :)

me and my tummy

its been three days since i had my LBM. just when i thought that i'm already well, i started to go to the bathroom more than i usually do again today... oh well... i think i have to take more medicines for diarrhea... hehehe...

i had to cancel a meeting with a friend tomorrow... kse nga sira pa rin ang tyan ko... we're planning to watch a movie and eat... syempre if we are going to eat dapat nasa kundisyon yung tiyan ko noh??!!! hehehe... so we had to move it to wednesday instead... good thing she agreed... :)

i got my company ID today... after three months, i finally got it... hehehe... i'm not quite sure if this will still be of use in the coming days... let's just see where fate will take me... :)

LSS???...

i've been having an LSS of this song for days already... or i think weeks... i know that you cant consider it an LSS anymore if its been days or weeks but... again... its weird that i cant shake the tune off my head since the last time i heard it sang by a PDA scholar... ang weirdo ko talaga... hehehe...

How can I make it through the day
Without you
You have been so much a part of me
(and if you'll go)
I'll never know what to do

How can I carry on my way

The memories
When all that is left is the pain of our history
Why should I live my life today

I cannot live out on my own
And just forget the love you've always shown
And accept the fate of my condition
Please don't ever go
For I cannot live my life alone

CHORUS:
Say you'll never go
Say you'll never go out my way
Say you'll never go
For we can still go on
And make it through
Just say you'll never go
Say you'll never go away

How can I make my dreams come true
Without you
You were the one who gave love to me
(And don't you know)
You are my fantasy

How can I carry on my way

The memories
When all that is left is the pain of our history
Why should I live my life today

I cannot live out on my own
(I can't do anything at all)
And just forget the love you've always shown
And accept the fate of my condition
Please don't ever go
For I cannot live my life alone

CHORUS:
Say you'll never go
Say you'll never go out my way
Say you'll never go
For we can still go on
And make it through
Just say you'll never go
Say you'll never go away

(Instrumental)

CHORUS:
Say you'll never go
Say you'll never go out my way
Say you'll never go
For we can still go on
And make it through
Just say you'll never go
Say you'll never go away

i wasnt able to go to work yesterday because i had LBM with severe stomach ache. weird because i was on my way to work when i felt that my tummy is aching... that was after i went to the comfort room. i even dressed up and prepared my things for work and drank all the medicines that will ease the pain im feeling... unfortunately, they dont have much of use coz i ended up staying at home. its just weird coz i dont remember eating anything that may cause that diarrhea... hmmm.... all i ate the past days was the maja that my mom and i cooked and the spaghetti i cooked the other day... its just weird... di naman sensitive ang tyan ko sa mga food... unless sira na talaga ung food... ewan ang weird lang talaga... or it might be a sign that im getting older and my immune system is not as good as it was before... oh well...

whiney me??? abba oh?!! :)

day off... i should be feeling great today because i don't have work for 2 days and i'll get to rest but i feel otherwise... siguro dahil badtrip pa rin ako... first, because i have to blog again in my favorite internet cafe because of the incompetent service of our phone company... geez... it's been a week... and there are more reasons to be pissed...

last november 7, marked my third month in my company. when i signed my contract, they told me that i have to wait for three months before i can claim my healthcard. and so i did... on that very day, i checked on its status. all they told me was its still being processed. great!!!... i won't be asking for it if i don't need it. i need to go to my quarterly check up with my surgeon in medical city which is already long overdue. on the otherhand, they should have processed it from the first day i sat foot in that company. geez... inefficient people... here's more...

before i was transfered to inbound and while on training, i was so hopeful that i can finally get one weekend day off... hopefully, its a sunday because i haven't been able to do sunday service for quite sometime. during our transition, i talked to one of our sups asking if it is possible for me to have a sunday-monday off and she told me its possible. so i'm so confident that i would. so here comes our sched for this week and next week. guess what?!!! i didn't get the day off i requested because someone else was favored over me. great, isn't it?!!!... pag minamalas ka nga naman... tsk...tsk...tsk... pasalamat sila at di ako reklamador tulad nung iba... simple lang ung request ko di pa napagbigyan... haay... ang buhay nga naman... parang life... mahirap rin talaga pag masyado kang level-headed... you get taken for granted... haayy...

i just don't get it. since there are a lot of agents manning each shift, why don't they give two or three people the same offs??!! like two agents will be on their restdays on friday-saturday while three will be off on sunday monday... i don't want to curse people... pero aaminin ko... badtrip talaga ako...

don't get me wrong, i'm thankful that i got my requested shift sched. thanks to a colleague who gave way. i owe you one, dude. all of these would be a lot easier to accept kung walang pinaboran... kaso meron e... i'm starting to doubt some people on their intentions... i just don't know where this will lead me...

pasensya na if i'm whining. i just want to get this out and as always my venue is writing. i just want everyone to know na tao rin ako... i get angry... i get pissed... i snap at annoying people... di sa lahat ng oras mabait ako... magaling makisama... at lagi kang iintindihin... i had to write all of these so i'll get over this... so that the next time i bump to those people concerned i can still manage to respect and be casual to them... and eventually forget about it... alam ko mababaw lahat ng sinulat ko ngayon... well... katulad ng sinabi ko kanina... tao rin ako... at may kababawan at times...

haayyy...

i'm really having a hard time blogging this past few days. our landline phone is still busted. it's been six days. i'm wondering when will they fix it... too bad... i just hope it will be fixed the as soon as possible. oh well... it seems like i will be blogging again in an internet cafe tomorrow... hmp...

i'm back

its been days since the last day i blogged. i was supposed to blog the other night. unfortunately, our not so reliable phone company failed us again. oh well... we dont have any dialtone so i cant connect to the internet. so here i am... writing my blog in my favorite internet cafe...

it was a long week for me. i'm transitioning from a text tv moderator to an inbound agent post. i'm still learning the products and services that our company offers. the manuals are just not enough. good thing, we have good mentors who are inbound cs agents, too. thanks to them we are getting the hang of doing inbound cs. though, this is not new to me anymore. pinapabayaan na nila ako mag-isa... while they assist my co-trainees. they told me to just catch their attention if i have a question... hahaha... they trust me a lot... they were saying na mas magaling pa ako sa kanila which is not true. among the five of us... ako lang nakalogin for 8 hours while the others take their turns. i think this is a good training ground for me so i'll get the hang of it. i haven't been taking calls for three months already so medyo naninibago pa rin ako. honestly, the account is a lot easier than the previous ones i have handled. wala sa kalingkingan... our shift lead was teasing me that i'll be permanent in this post come next week... well... from day one of this training i already know that i'll be staying in this post for good. i just hope the increase they promised will materialize the soonest possible time or i might consider moving somewhere else.

yesterday, abba, blythe, yoshie and i met up at the gateway mall. finally, we had the chance to meet up... the four of us without anyone missing. this was really rare. our scheds dont usually meet and if they do, one or two of us don't have money to spend so we end up cancelling it. oh well... im just thankful that we did finally see each other... especially blythe... i havent seen her since the day i resigned from convergys. even when she gave birth to tamtam. it was a fun afternoon. we did what we enjoy doing the most... eat... hahaha... syempre di mawawala ang kwentuhan... grabeh... tawanan kme ng tawanan... especially when we were taking our pictures... di kse kme magkasya sa screen ng phone ni blythe... hehehe... we had coffee din sa starbucks before we went home... pero syempre i didn't get coffee... as much as possible i don't drink coffee... so i ordered choco cream frap as i always do... it was a happy afternoon... i really had fun... :) i posted some of our pictures here. sorry abba, i had to post it. :)

blythe showed us some of her daughter's pics. i even asked for some of tamtam's pics. she is so cute. nakakatuwa... that's her sleeping soundly. i'll post her other pics here once i get them. :)

abba's inviting us over next friday to her place in antipolo. mag-vi-videoke daw kme... hehehe... so we asked her to cook... she cooks good... sarap talaga... hehehe... hopefully, i'll get the same day off next week and i'm planning to request for a permanent off during fridays and saturdays. i hope my request will be granted. :)

i might not be able to blog for quite a while. mdalas kse pag-uwi ko antok na ako... mahirap talaga pag tumatanda ka na... hehehe... i just hope i can manage to blog whenever i feel the urge to write. :)

on leave

i'll be on blog leave for a couple of days... hehehe... i'm busy with training and i don't have time to write... but definitely i'll be back writing maybe in a few days. i just have to focus with my training and my current post. so see you folks by that time. :)

sms tv moderator

yesterday was the last day of our speech training. we were only given 3 days for it. i must admit that was a breeze... i wish we had more time... well... i always liked training. maybe because it takes you out of the routinary work that you do... provides room for improvement in a classroom type of environment... the truth is... i've always liked to sit in a classroom and watch as my teacher/trainer talk in front of the class... maybe its because i've always wanted to try training people... but definitely not with soft skills coz i know i have my own lapses...

during those three days of training, i had fun. i have really crazy co-trainees. i had a good time too because i had a refresher. it's been 5 months since the last time i had attended an intensive english speech
training. that was in teletech but product training was more intense there... i won't elaborate on that anymore. :)

this coming sunday, we will have one more day for our product training. next week will be a lot different. we will start our nesting period and will start taking calls... the same thing i used to do in convergys and teletech. as much as i don't want to transfer to inbound cs, i had to. i know there is a reason my supervisors want me there... i honestly think that faith wants me there, too. whatever that reason is, i know God wants me to do this and He knows i can handle this. in my entire life, He hadn't given me any challenge that i was not able to handle. so i guess this is just one of them.

goodbye, smstv... i know that though they promised that they will put us back to our previous posts if they don't find us fit for inbound cs... i think i'll be staying there for good... knowing myself, i face challenges head on and do my best to excel in the task at hand... sometimes i push myself to the limit... sana lang di ako mapagod at biglang bumitaw... or else... i'll end up hopping to another company again. :)

batch one

i'll be on training this week for four days. our company is crosstraining people for the different projects that we have. i dunno if you can call me lucky because we are the first batch to be in training... and this is the first time they are conducting such... a formal training... :)

yesterday, i had to go to work at 10am because it was the first day of our speech training. it was supposedly my off but they moved it to saturday. i guess it was a lucky break for me because it was a holiday (end of Ramadan) and i'll get paid double... hehehe...

just like the other speech trainings that i have attended, we were asked to introduce ourselves and was asked a random question. this was to gauge one's proficiency in spoken english. as usual our trainer/supervisor jot down her comments that she calls "constructive criticism". after everyone was finished, she read those comments to us. when its my turn for her comments, she just said she doesn't have any comments because i sound good. i dunno if i blushed or something because that was the first time i was praised for my spoken english. ang weird lang kse... alam ko naman na di ako ganun kagaling mag-english... tsaka i don't want my co-trainees to feel na pinapaboran nya ako... feeling ko tuloy ang taas ng tingin nya sa 'kin... which is hindi naman talaga... oh, well... that's her opinion... i just wish i can live up to her expectations...

prior to yesterday, my trainer/supervisor and i have been engaging in small talks whenever i bump to her in the pantry or when she's walking on the floor. she told me she liked how i sound. i think this is a mutual admiration because i always liked to talk to her... the reason being is the way she speaks and her accent is so contagious. i like the way she speaks (she speaks like lea salonga) and i look up to people who speaks well because one day i want to be in that position too... alam ko marami pa akong kakaining bigas... hehehe...

by the way, umpisa na ito ng paglipat ko sa inbound. they told us that not all of us will be transferred to inbound. but the way it is going, i think that i'll be transitioning soon to inbound customer service. i can't say i'm lucky but i hope this is the start of something else in my career. to my supervisors, i really appreciate the trust that you are giving me. salamat sa pagpansin sa mga kakayahan ko. i'll make sure i'll live up to your expectations... :)

split

my supervisor approached me during the start of my shift to tell me that i'll be attending a training next week. its an american language training, if i remember it right. its going to start on tuesday. that means that i'll have a split off for this week. well... that's fine with me as long as my other day off will be a weekend so i can go to church. by the way, this is the start of my transition to inbound. well... i don't have much of a choice. they are counting on me that i'll be able to handle the job accordingly. its just hard because of their expectations. wow! pressure!... i just hope i'll be able to meet, if not all, at least most of them. sana lang 'di madali ang buhay ko dito sa kumpanyang 'to nang dahil sa paglipat nila sa akin sa inbound!... hehehe... though, i'm still optimistic and i hope that i'll be able to stay here until i'm sure with my employment in IBM. which reminds me that i have to cancel my plans of going to IBM again and schedule it some other time. geez... i hope everything will be fine... i know i'll have a better future with IBM but first i have to pass their employment process... i'm hoping for the best... the best for the both of us... my mom and i... wish me luck folks! :)

earthquake

i dunno what's wrong with me. as i have blogged on my previous post, i'm having a hard time getting up in the morning. though, i already had 7 hours of sleep. it's really weird... i don't have colds anymore nor is taking medicines... i'm really wondering what this is all about. alam kong antukin ako but i'm not like this before. geez... what's happening to me???!!! weirdo ko talaga... hehehe...

last night (or should i say this morning at about 1:30am) while i was trying to go to sleep, i felt the earth moved. it just lasted for a few minutes. i think less than three minutes. according to the news there were five quakes that hit us yesterday. that is since friday night til about 11:00am today. the epicenters were in Boac, Marinduque and Lucena City in Quezon province. its only intensity 4 in Manila and the epicenters have 4 point something intensities too... thank goodness... just brings me a deja vue of an earthquake that hit makati last 2004. nasa 31st floor lang naman ako ng enterprise nun... hehehe...

untitled

i really don't know what to write about today. i have the same routine. except that i kept on waking late and is always rushing since i started with this new shift. its just weird that i am having a hard time getting up in the morning since i had my coughs and colds. by the way, i still have some coughs. it's been 2 and a half weeks and yet i still have it. geez... it seems like it's here to stay... wag naman sana...

i have a slight headache today. maybe its because of the CRT monitor i used today. i had to transfer from one station to another. good thing there were available LCD monitors in the office. nawala un sakit ng ulo ko nun lumipat ako... so i concluded that it was really the CRT monitor.

i'm all alone sa shift ko today. off nung kasama ko. good thing i remember to bring my iPod nano. at least, di ako masyado maiinip. :)
